The brief
KDS were appointed by O&H Properties as architects to develop a scheme for the conversion of a series of Listed properties bordering the exclusive area of Eaton Square, Belgravia, London SW1.

The Conversion
The conversion works required the insertion of a new mansard roof, the total reconstruction of two of the town houses and three rear mews properties, with the introduction of a communal basement car park below the new raised rear gardens. After protracted and complex negotiations with the Local Authority and English Heritage, planning was granted in December 2006. The works were completed under the scrutiny of Westminster Council’s Conservation Officer.
